Give your team
room to move forward
Your plans are ready, but your team needs more capacity or experience. Foreside brings engineers who build alongside you, ask questions and share knowledge. Together, we identify the support that will move work forward and help your own people develop.
More work, the same people
The list of requests keeps growing, while experienced colleagues also handle incidents, review decisions and support new starters. You may have been recruiting for some time or postponing work. Extra support makes sense, but you do not want explanation and supervision to take up even more time. You also need someone who understands why something is being built and is willing to discuss problems. Availability is only part of the question. You need to know who fits your team, what work you can entrust to them and how knowledge will stay within your organisation.
Approach
Joining your team starts with understanding your needs
We discuss your goals, your team and the work that is not moving forward. This helps establish whether you mainly need capacity, specific experience or guidance. We shape the engagement and expectations around that need.
Define the right role
Together, we define the contribution you need. We consider technical knowledge, collaboration and responsibility. We also discuss the support you can provide, so the proposed engagement fits the reality of your team.
Make a focused start
We agree on the access, context and contacts needed to begin. The engineer starts with clearly defined work while getting to know your product and processes. You know who is responsible for what and where questions should go.
Build and stay aligned
Our engineers work within your team’s existing rhythm. They discuss decisions, review code with colleagues and share what they learn. Together, we review whether the engagement still matches your priorities and raise difficulties while there is time to address them.
Make knowledge accessible
Handover starts during the work. We record important decisions and involve colleagues in relevant areas. Towards the end, we discuss outstanding work, maintenance and ownership, so your team understands what it is taking over.
Result
Work that moves forward, knowledge your team can use
You get support that contributes to agreed work and makes clear what delivery requires. Your own people can discuss decisions together and gain experience while building. Agreements and points requiring attention are documented for handover. We assess the engagement against your goals: what work has been completed, what knowledge has been shared and where does your team still need support?
Case study
Jumbo: becoming part of existing teams
At Jumbo, internal teams needed additional capacity to develop their digital platforms. Our engineers worked within the existing processes, took on features and improvements and contributed to architectural decisions. The case shows how extra capacity and knowledge sharing come together in a team’s daily work.

What will your team need to contribute?
We have very little time for onboarding. What happens then?
Even an experienced engineer needs context. We discuss what is available and who can answer questions before starting. A limited first assignment keeps the start manageable. If essential support is missing, we say so.
Will we become dependent on an external colleague?
That risk deserves attention. We make knowledge sharing, documentation and ownership part of the engagement. Together, we establish which knowledge needs to stay in-house and who should be involved in the handover.
