What you do
- You develop frontend applications, backend services and APIs that work together
- You connect applications to databases, cloud services and event-driven systems
- You make design decisions with performance, security and scalability in mind
- You work with your DevOps team throughout the development cycle, from design to deployment and maintenance
- You use AI to write, test and check code, reviewing what you deliver yourself
What you bring
- You have at least three years of experience in frontend or backend development
- You know a backend technology such as Java, .NET, Python or Node.js well and have experience with a related framework
- You work with JavaScript and a frontend framework such as React, Vue or Angular and understand software design principles and patterns
- You have experience with databases and building or integrating REST APIs, GraphQL or gRPC
- You write unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- You have experience with cloud hosting or serverless services and collaborate in an Agile or DevOps team using CI/CD
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
Nice to have
- You have experience with Docker or Kubernetes and architectural styles such as microservices or event-driven architecture
- You have worked with message brokers or event buses, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
- You know authentication protocols such as OpenID Connect, OAuth2 or SAML2
- You have experience with design systems, component libraries and other frontend tooling

- Work experience in the Netherlands
- English at B2 level and Dutch at A2 level
